As Southeast Asia Accelerator Associate Director, Hazel supports food banks in the Accelerator program, performing assessments, co-developing work plans, and supporting project implementation alongside newly established food banks.
Hazel joins GFN with over six years of experience in corporate social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and corporate giving in the hospitality, food and beverage, and e-commerce sectors. Hazel’s expertise lies in establishing and managing corporate giving programs to support hunger alleviation projects, helping bridge the gap between businesses and charities. Most recently, she was with Asia’s leading food delivery company Foodpanda, during which she successfully established food surplus donation partnerships and set up consumer donation programs in multiple countries to support the work of local food banks and charities. Prior to Foodpanda, Hazel was part of Hilton’s ESG team for Asia Pacific. Hazel holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
