Luis Manuel García Mendoza joins GFN with a robust background in food banking at Bancos de Alimentos de México (BAMX). At BAMX, Manuel served in various roles including Project Officer, Project Coordinator, and Senior Manager of Social Investment. He implemented national programs pertaining to infrastructure, nutrition, food recovery, equipment and product purchasing, and emergency preparedness. Manuel also worked in fundraising, strategically partnering with companies, social organizations, foundations, and other stakeholders. His notable contributions include designing BAMX’s first Natural Disaster Fund and overseeing the implementation of Salesforce CRM at their national office.
Manuel holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from the National Autonomous University Of Mexico. He speaks Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese.
